How to get to Jelsa
Hvar Island is located at the center of the Adriatic Sea between the
islands of Brač, Vis and Korčula. Approximately 68 km long, its mountains
and hills are covered in pine forests, with vineyards, olive groves,
orchards and lavender fields in the agricultural parts.
BY A CAR:
From Zagreb (460 km): Motorway A1 Zagreb-Split (exit Dugopolje), then
taking the ferry from Split to Stari Grad and finally driving to Jelsa about
10 km.
From Split: taking the ferry to Stari Grad and driving 10 km
to Jelsa (Road 116)
From Dubrovnik (174 km): Road E65 to Drvenik,
taking the ferry to Sućuraj and driving 50 km to Jelsa (Road 116)
